SJSO visits back to school bash

WALLACE — The St. John Sheriff’s Office recently helped students on the West Bank prepare for school. Sheriff Mike Tregre and a few of his fellow officers visited with families in Wallace Saturday morning at the fire station during a back to school bash. Officers gave out coloring books and personal safety information, along with goodie bags.
The Sheriff’s Office passed out coloring books, fans and goodie bags to participants.
Backpacks and school supplies were distributed. Inflatables, face painting and food also were featured at the event presented by Kiwaun Taylor.
Sheriff Tregre and the SJSO wish all children great success in the upcoming school year.
