LAPLACE —Morgan Lee announces her candidacy for the District 5 Parish Council seat. Morgan was raised in St John Parish by her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Emile Lee III, with her siblings, Ambrie Lee – Butler, Emile IV, Amanda, Mason and Emily Lee.

“As your Council representative, my plans are to deliver innovative leadership to our legislative branch. I plan to advocate and be the voice of our community and resolve those needs expeditiously.

“Integrity-driven and ready to work alongside the parish president, I will help to remedy District 5’s immediate needs such as our overwhelmed drainage system, the delayed levee protection system and new drainage pumping stations to start. My plans also include launching some imperative business revitalization for Highway 51, 61 & Main Street; Green space Initiative for US 61, and lastly, protecting our home value.”

Morgan will be a public servant dedicated to the needs of District 5.
