John L. Ory Communications Arts Magnet School is holding a contract signing night Monday at 5 p.m. for last names starting with A-M and at 6 p.m. for last names starting with N-Z. At least one parent must attend with student(s). Students may bring their school supplies. Completed summer assignments are due at this time. Students should additionally bring $10 for a planner, and middle school P.E. shirts will be sold for $8 each.

The East St. John Alumni Association will greet students with a “Welcome Back to School Parade” Friday morning. Alumni are asked to arrive by 6:15 a.m., park in the rear lot of the school and be in place in the receiving line in time for the first buses to arrive at 6:30 a.m.
