LAPLACE — TCC, located at 901W Airline Hwy Suite F in LaPlace, invites local families to bring their children to the store to pick up a backpack filled with pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders, glue and more.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. July 21. The store is donating up to 200 backpacks on a first-come, first-served basis.
