St. John Parish releases sandbag information for Friday (7-12-19)

Sandbags will be available in St. John Parish beginning at 8 a.m. today. There is no limit on self serve. Contact the parish at 652-2222 if informed differently at the site.
Please bring a shovel and prepare to fill your own bags. Please only take what is needed:
• Intersection of Bamboo Road and Indigo Pkwy (near Lake Pontchartrain Elementary)
• Railroad Avenue Fire Station (near Riverside Academy)
• Ezekiel Jackson Park in Garyville
• West Bank Complex
• Wallace, Edgard, Lucy & Pleasure Bend Fire Stations
Pre-filled sandbags for elderly and disabled will reopen at 8 am Friday : There is a 10 Limit for prefilled sandbags.
