LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish District 4 Councilman Marvin “Butch” Perrilloux is pleased to announce he is seeking the seat of Councilman At-Large Division B in the upcoming fall election.

“It has truly been an honor to be a servant to the parish that I was reared in,” Perrilloux said. “I am grateful to the residents of District 4 for allowing me to be their voice on the Parish Council for the last eight years.

“With dedication and proven leadership, I will continue the work for the people of the parish. That’s why I am looking to expand that leadership and experience by becoming Councilman At-Large Division B. With new critical improvements coming and underway, experienced and proven leadership will be important to moving this parish forward.

“I am looking forward to working with the next administration, hands holding hands, voices lifting voices to becoming the best St. John. Completion of the West Shore Levee Project, improving internal drainage, building our waste and water facilities and being transparent (are top priorities).

“St. John the Baptist Parish will be a parish on the move, so pass the word, Marvin ‘Butch’ Perrilloux is running for Councilman At-Large Division B.”
