RRCC hosting Cedric Richmond

LULING — The River Region Chamber of Commerce is hosting Congressman Cedric Richmond at its general membership meeting at 11:30 a.m. July 29 at the St. Charles Community Center.

Networking and registration starts at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served.

There is a $35 investment for members and a $45 investment for future members to attend the event.

2019 Relay for Life Kickoff Party

LAPLACE — This multi-parishes Relay for Life event is from 6 to 8 p.m. July 10 at Bec’s on the Lake Restaurant,  located at 105 Gary Rd, LaPlace. Small bites will be provided, and there will also be a cash bar on-site.

The event will focus on the rebranding of Relay for Life in the Multi-Parish region. It is not just one relay, but a festival of life spanning across St. John, St. James, St. Charles and Jefferson Parishes. RSVP to Henry Heaton at henry.heaton@cancer.org.

St. John Theatre presents Grease

RESERVE — Grease runs on July 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, & 27 at the St. John Theatre, located at 115 West Fourth Street in Reserve. Tickets are available to Allied Express or online at stjohntheatre.com.

RRCC hosts ribbon cutting

LAPLACE — Zora Christina Catering & Café will be celebrating its ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. July 10. The restaurant is located at 2003 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace, near New Wine Christian Fellowship.
