PAULINA– The LA DOTD announced  a railroad closure will take place on LA 642 at 0.1 miles north of LA 44 from 7 a.m. Monday June 24 until 7 a.m. Tuesday June 25. No traffic will be allowed to pass during this closure to make railroad crossing repairs.

   Alternates routes are available. Motorists traveling Southbound should take LA 642 to LA 3125 then LA 3193 to LA 44 back to LA 642. Northbound travelers should take LA 642 to LA 44 east to LA 3193 then north to LA 3125 and west to LA 642.

DESTREHAN —Alternating single shoulder closures will recur daily from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24 – 28 on Westbound and Eastbound I-10 from Power Boulevard in Metairie to I-310 interchange in Destrehan. Crews are working to construct concrete footings for new overhead sign trusses, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
