Warren Snyder seeks Council District 6 seat

Warren Snyder Jr. said he is excited to announce his candidacy for St. John the Baptist Parish Council District 6.

“I have been a resident of District 6 for over 15 years,” Snyder said. “I have been a volunteer Coach for the St. John the Baptist Parish Recreation department for over 10 years. I currently serve on the Advisory Board for St. John the Baptist Parish Recreation Department. I attended East St. John High School in Reserve, before later moving to Los Angeles, graduating from Crenshaw High School. I attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, where I studied Business Administration.”

Snyder is married to Lahouma Taylor-Snyder and is the proud father of Tyren, Jaden, Warren III and Wuan Snyder.

“If elected, I plan to serve as a voice for the citizens of this community and to continue to strive to move our community in a positive direction,” he said. “I plan to implement a youth mentoring program to help mentor the youths of our community. Family is very important to me, and I plan to work together with other Council members and community leaders to make District 6 and St. John Parish a safer place to live and grow.”

Snyder said he is “Committed to the Community, Dedicated to the Future.”
