Police find local man gunned down in Reserve home
RESERVE — St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a local man.
Police responded to the 100 block of Northwest First Street in Reserve following a report of a man not breathing in a residence.
After arriving at approximately 3:25 p.m. Thursday, officers learned a man, identified as 29-year-old Ashton Fleming of Reserve, had been shot multiple times.
Fleming was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.
