Glynn Lawrence “Stone” Entremont, 68, of Garyville passed away on Jan. 1, 2019, in Kenner.

He was born on March 30, 1950, to Herman and Jeanne Clement Entremont.

He married Gwendolyn Roccaforte Entremont on Aug. 16, 1969.

He devoted 50 years to Shell in Norco as a heavy equipment operator.

He was known as a very kind, generous and hardworking man who shared his wisdom to those he knew and helped so many in need.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was loved so dearly.

Glynn was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Entremont and Jeanne Clement Entremont Bigelow; step father Ronald Bigelow; daughter Nicole Entremont; brother Barry P. Entremont; father-in-law Frank Roccaforte and mother-in-law Frances F. Roccaforte.

Glynn is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gwendolyn Roccaforte Entremont of Garyville; son Jarrett M. Entremont (Hailey Roussel Entremont) of Paulina; six grandchildren, Gage Descant, Ryder Kliebert and Addison, Grayson, Lawson and Emerson Entremont; brother-in-law Barry Roccaforte (Tanya); sister-in-law Susie Louque (Mark) and sister-in-law Jessica Entremont (Barry).

Glynn will also be fondly remembered by his godchildren, Shelley Attul, Tony Cashio, Cash Weber, Kerrie Cambre, Aimee Bourgeois and Jeanne Entremont; his nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; dear friends and co-workers.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Jan. 5 at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Garyville.

Burial followed at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Reserve.
