Tropical Storm Watch cancelled for St. John Parish

LAPLACE — A Tropical Storm Watch has been cancelled for St. John the Baptist Parish.
However, the area remains under a Flash Flood Watch until Tuesday.
Periods of heavy rainfall including one to two inches with locally higher amounts could impact the area during this time.
Residents should continue cleaning catch basins and drains in advance of heavy rainfall and also securing loose items around homes.
