RESERVE — St. Charles Catholic High School Stagehands are busy preparing for Seussical, a musical event based on the books of Dr. Seuss, including favorites like “Horton Hears a Who!” “Horton Hatches the Egg” and “Miss Gertrude McFuzz.”

The play is great for children of all ages, producers say.

The Stagehands will perform “Seussical” as their spring production on March 22-24.

This production is made possible in part by a grant from the River Parish Arts and Humanities Council.

The musical starts at 7:30 p.m. each night at the St. John Theatre in Reserve. Tickets are $10 and available at the SCC school office in LaPlace and at the theater door.

A matinee performance for elementary school students takes place at 9:15 a.m. March 21 at St. John Theatre.  The performance runs for approximately 90 minutes.

Admission for students and parents is $5 and all teachers are admitted free.
