RESERVE — There will be additional police presence on the East St. John High School campus Tuesday, according to St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools.

School officials said the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of and has investigated reports of threats made against East St. John High.

At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has found no evidence to support a significant threat to the school, according to the School District.

“Out of an abundance of caution, we will have additional deputies stationed at the school tomorrow,” the School District announced Monday evening.

Social media posts and robocalls are being used to spread the message.
