MONTZ — The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident pertaining to a barricaded subject at a residence near the intersection of River Road and Hollywood Park Road in Montz.

Currently, the roadway is closed at this location, with west bound traffic being diverted to Evangeline Road in Montz, and east bound traffic being diverted at LA 3217, commonly known as Bayou Steel Road, in St. John Parish.

Residents in the area of Hollywood Park Road and neighboring streets are asked to remain indoors.  An update will be provided once the investigation is complete.
