AOL celebrates Christian values

- Ascension of Our Lord principal Toni Ruiz recently presented trophies for Christian Citizenship to students for the first nine weeks, including, front row, from left, Ayden Breaux, kindergarten; Gabriel Chauvin and Tamia Washington (not pictured), first grade; Santana Arceneaux and Kolin Tregre, second grade; Brianna Borne and Amarii Grinstead, third grade; back row, Hailey Fernandez, fourth grade; Janivy Ayestas and Alaijah Bruno, fifth grade; Kaleb Houston and Aiden Ocmond, 6th grade; and Bella Marix, seventh grade.
A trophy was presented to students from each homeroom whose actions displayed their Christian values.
The criteria for being selected included qualities such as being consistently kind, putting others first, and living out their faith.
