WWII Veterans get in free to Air, Sea & Land Festival

NEW ORLEANS — Presented by the WWII Museum, the WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival continues through Sunday at New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
The WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival presents the best of past AirPower Expo celebrations along with an expanded roster of entertainment, food, drink and soaring aircraft. Gates open at 9 a.m. daily. Walk alongside PT-305, the only fully restored, combat-veteran PT boat. There will be a Victory Parade, an hourlong celebration of the World War II machines and the men and women who used them.
A children’s obstacle course, along with inflatables, a rock wall, STEM-based activities, hands-on history with WWII gear, photo stations and face painting are planned.
Festival admission is $21 for adults, and $16 for military members, museum members and senior citizens. World War II veterans and kids 12 and under enter free.
