Jacob: God helps in hurricane miss

All those that were flooded during Isaac were told to expect flooding from Hurricane Nate.
We waited all day Saturday to see a change in the weather. Nate passed quietly by us without so much as a hint of a hurricane so close to our coast.
The Lord answered the prayers of His people, who asked Him for mercy and compassion so that those who were flooded by Isaac would not have to suffer through that again.
“The effectual Fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16
The lake was already high, and the surge was expected to flood us again. I consider it a miracle that Hurricane Nate passed quietly by the mouth of the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain.
Where was the rain, the wind, and the surge that was expected?
Many years ago, Jesus was in the boat with His apostles facing a storm. He spoke to the storm, and He quieted it. He did the same for us with Hurricane Nate.
