Teacher gets Holocaust education

- Kelley Thompson, a Lake Pontchartrain Elementary teacher in LaPlace, is bringing back lessons learned from a Holocaust education conference this summer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Thompson, front row, sitting seventh from the left, was one of 221 participants in the three-day workshop that equips educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively bring Holocaust education into their classrooms.
