Sept. 6, 1984: Two River Parishes Medical Center Auxiliary junior volunteers were given top awards for hours put in at the hospital. Marcie Tregre, left, was recognized by the hospital for 133 hours of volunteer service over the past two summers. Kari St. Pierre, right, received an award for 61 hours of service for the summer of 1984. Presenting the awards is Doris Cambre, president of the hospital’s volunteer auxiliary.
Sept. 6, 1994: Hellois Green of LaPlace is all smiles after winning $3,000 via slot machine action during a trip to Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, Miss.
