Veronica Sue Hudson, born on Sept. 24, 1974, in Hermann, Missouri, and raised in LaPlace.

God brought her home on Aug. 17, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones.

Veronica is survived by her children, Jacob Hudson (Kandi Rizzo) Noah Fugate and Sandy Fugate; her granddaughter, Nova Jean; her husband, Noah Anthony Fugate; mother, Sandy Rucker Remedies (Joseph Remedies); father, Ace Hudson; stepfather, Mark Burson; grandparents, John and Pauline Rucker; sisters, Tricia H. Lazo (Ron Lazo) and Joy H. Phillips (Rob Phillips); step brother, Paul Burson; step sisters, Chrissy B. Dotson (Tony Dotson) and April Remedies (Chris Deloach); step brothers, Joey Remedies (Candy Remedies) and Paul Remedies (Amanda Remedies).

She is also survived by many other family members and friends. Veronica (Roni) was a wonderful and devoted parent.

She was a passionate cosmetologist and a loving friend. She had such a natural way of making people smile and was loved by so many.

Although she is gone, her light can still be felt by those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed!

The Funeral Service will be held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

Visitation is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following at 6:30 p.m.
