The St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District has opened a transportation hotline for parents and guardians to get answers to any questions they may have about buses as the school year begins.

The hotline is available from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Aug. 18 at  985-536-7790.

School begins Thursday for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Students in kindergarten, universal pre-kindergarten, LA4 and Model Early programs return Aug. 16. Head Start students go back to school on Aug. 23.
