RESERVE — A Reserve grain elevator has caused a St. John the Baptist Parish road closure.

St. John Government said officials are responding to an electrical fire at ADM Grain Elevator in Reserve, adding the fire has been extinguished and there is no threat to residents.

River Road (Louisiana 44) near the facility, which closed in both directions during the fire response, has reopened for motorists.
