Ascension of Our Lord School seventh graders recently celebrated their promotion.
Twenty-six students received certificates as part of the celebration, which included an awards ceremony.
Amani Seamster leads the class in the Pledge of Allegiance as Ascension of Our Lord kindergarten students in Lisa LeBlanc’s class perform ‘We Know Our Stuff,’ for their families at the year-end celebration. The play included songs, which demonstrated skills the students learned at school.
Notable awards were Jake Jeandron, Essence Tarrence and Barry Cummins earning SCC Scholarships and Adrienne Faucheux and Jacob Caldarera recognized as Christian Athletes.
Jacob Caldarera and Morgan Randolph were named Academic Athletes, while Morgan Randolph received the Pastor’s Award and Evan Roussell received the Principal’s Award.
Jacob Caldarera, Barry Cummins and Morgan Randolph earned the St. Dominic Savio Award (second highest GPA), and Karen Trichell won the St. John Bosco Award (highest GPA).
