2017 All-St. John Parish Baseball Team

P Mason Vicknair, Riverside, Sr.: The returning Outstanding Player was impressive as a senior, helping lead the Rebels to the Division III state title. He hit .405, led the team with 10 home runs and 40 RBIs. The Delgado signee was 4-2 as a pitcher, including a win in the final, with a 1.91 ERA and 51 strikeouts.

P Jordan Loving, Riverside, Jr.: In 83 innings pitched he was 6-5 with a 1.940 ERA and 99 strikeouts. He also drove in 26 runs at the plate.

P Evan Pfister, St. Charles, Jr.: Emerged as the ace of the Comets’ staff and finished 7-5, with a 1.64 ERA and 50 strikeouts. He also hit .317. 

P Justin Schnyder, East St. John, Sr.: A Grambling State signee, he had an ERA of 1.831 and 60 strikeouts and hit .390 with 25 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.

C Kevin Breaux, East St. John, So.: A first team All-District 7-5A selection, Breaux hit .301 with nine RBIs.

IF Dustin Mire, St. Charles, Sr.: A stellar infielder, Mire hit .325 with 13 RBIs this season.

IF Tanner Louque, Riverside, Jr.: He hit .303 with 24 RBIs, 19 runs and eight doubles. He also was 8-1 on the mound with a 1.909 ERA and 47 strikeouts.

IF Connor Poche, Riverside, Sr.: A Centenary signee, he hit .252 with 19 RBIs and three home runs. He also pitched 53 innings, finishing 7-2 with a 2.494 ERA and 54 strikeouts.

IF Dellary Oubre, St. Charles Catholic, Jr.: He hit .351 with five doubles, 37 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

OF Lloyd Nash, St. Charles Catholic, Jr.: The lone returning starter for the Comets, he hit .439 with eight  doubles, three triples and 23 RBIs. He also successfully stole 37 bases on 37 attempts. 

OF Zack Geiger, Riverside, Jr.: He hit .402 with 22 RBIs, two home runs, 14 doubles and 41 runs scored. 

OF Nick Lorio, St. Charles Catholic, So.: He hit .365 with five doubles, 18 RBIs, 25 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. 

UT Jared Hymel, Riverside, Jr.: He hit .297 with 31 RBIs, 29 runs and six home runs.

UT Rayvon Joseph, East St. John, So.: One to watch in the future, Joseph hit .237 with 10 RBIs.

UT Nick Roberts, St. Charles Catholic, Jr.: As a pitcher he was 6-2 in 44.2 innings with a 3.29 ERA with 31 strike outs

UT Kaile Levatino, St. Charles Catholic, Fr.: Another young pitcher to keep an eye on, he was 3-2, with a 2.45 ERA and 33 strikeouts.
