- The Ascension of Our Lord Knights of Columbus Council No. 9623 sponsored the Basketball Free Throw Contest for boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14. Winners are, front row, from left, E’Moni Arceneaux, Chad Jones, JaLanie Morris, Daniel Joseph, Kharma Creecy (not pictured), back row, Chase Duhon, Adonijah Mills, Blaize Loescher, Adrienne Faucheux and Evan Roussell. Winners were presented a certificate from Grand Knight Mike Abbate and will compete at the district level.
