NBA’s Pelicans present St. John Parish Public Schools’ Night this Sunday

RESERVE — The community is invited to join the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District and the New Orleans Pelicans as the Pelicans present St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools’ Night on Sunday.

The game against the Washington Wizards will begin at 5 p.m. at the Smoothie King Center.

St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District students and staff will be featured throughout the evening. The East St. John High School band will perform during the Fan Jam from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. outside the arena and the LaPlace Elementary School choir will perform the National Anthem.

The St. John the Baptist Parish District Principal, Teachers and Students of the Year will all be recognized.

“This is a great opportunity for the entire region to see all the talent we have in St. John the Baptist Parish Public Schools,” Superintendent Kevin George said.
