Norco Christmas Parade scheduled for Sunday has been canceled

The Norco Christmas Parade scheduled for Sunday/Dec. 4 has been canceled. It will not be rescheduled.
Parade organizers have been in constant contact with officials from the St. Charles Parish Emergency Operations Center and the National Weather Service. These agencies highly recommended that it is in the best interests of participants and parade goers to cancel the event.
It is the first time in the 16 years of the parade’s revival that it has been canceled due to a weather threat.
Registered parade entrants will receive an email with instructions for reimbursement or to have their fees applied to next year’s parade.
The 2017 parade is scheduled for Dec. 3, 2017. The deadline to submit an entry form is Nov. 21. Visit norconoel.com for more information.
