St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre named Patrol Deputy Terrance Calais Officer of the Second Quarter. Calais was honored Aug. 15 for outstanding work in making four arrests in connection with the seizure of two stolen guns and marijuana in an investigation that began from a traffic violation. Calais utilized vigilant police work during a dangerous situation, Sheriff Tregre said. Pictured with Tregre and Calais is Bill Robinson of Cool Concepts, sponsor of the Officer of the Second Quarter award.
