Eddie Daniel Cambre Sr.

Eddie Daniel Cambre Sr., born in Garyville and a resident of LaPlace for the last 48 years, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the age of 73.
Cambre was the beloved husband of the late Jeanette Marse Cambre. They shared 36 years of marriage.
Cambre was the father of Eddie Cambre Jr. (Jenny), Ron Cambre (Tracy), Chad A. Cambre (Angie) and Kerri Lemoine (Randy); grandfather of Casey (Jaime), Derek, Joshua, Andrew, Grant, Cody, “Big” Chris, Toni and Dalton Cambre, Ally and “Lil” Jake Lemoine; son of the late Frank and Elsie Cambre; and brother of Norma Fremin, the late Lanny Cambre, Nelwyn Jacob, Milton “TeBoy” Cambre and Kathleen Cambre.
He is survived by his devoted friend, Sylvia Babin.
Cambre served his country in the Navy. He was a member of Msgr. Dennis Bergeron Knights of Columbus Council 5935 and a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
He was an avid Tulane fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, July 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace and at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Thursday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to noon with the Funeral Mass to follow.
Burial is in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
