St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Mike Tregre placed Barry Conner II, 23, on indefinite suspension subsequent to his arrest in St. Charles Parish Wednesday morning.

Conner holds the rank of deputy and is assigned to the Corrections Division.

He started with the Sheriff’s Office in August.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Conner is charged with lack of required vehicle headlamps, use of firearm cds, possession of marijuana first offense and possession of schedule 2.
