Photo Feature: Student welders compete, win

- Hahnville High School offers a welding program led by Scott Villemarette, who took his class to the National Center for Construction Education and Research Welding Competition at Associated Builders and Contractors in St. Rose. Approximately 80 welders competed in beginners and advanced. Austin Faucheaux took first place in beginners, and Logan McDonough took second place in beginners. Both have been welding since January.
