Kenneth Jerome King, 73, a resident of Luling, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 1 p.m. at Smackover Memorial Cemetery in Smackover, Ark., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors, with Dr. Paul Naylor of FBC LaPlace officiating.
King is survived by his wife, Rebecca Beard King; daughter Christa Elish King Plaisance; sister Alana King Sturtevant; and grandchildren Colin Anthony Plaisance and Seth Michael Plaisance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H. H. King and Marselle Dozier King; and brothers Joe H. King and Gary D. King.
King was a USMC Vietnam veteran. He was a retiree from Coastal Gulf and International and an active member of FBC LaPlace.
