Superintendent Kevin George, from left, accepts a proclamation from St. John the Baptist Parish Councilwoman Jaclyn Hotard and Michelle Jenkins-Miller, of U.S. Rep. Cedric Richmond’s office, along with School Board President Keith Jones. The proclamation, congratulating the St. John the Baptist Parish Public School District on attaining a B letter grade, was presented by Richmond and recorded to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in Washington, D.C.
