DESTREHAN — The Ormond Spray Park will reopen for weekends only in May between 1 and 6 p.m.

Beginning June 1, the park will be open for its normal schedule of 1 until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

The park is located at 1901 Ormond Blvd. in Destrehan.

The spray park will also be available for private rentals. Rentals can only be made for a two-hour block (10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday) and are $250 for half of the park and $500 for the whole park.

Beginning the last week in August, the Ormond Spray Park will be closed to the public on weekdays.

The park will remain open on weekends with normal hours.

The park will close for the season in September.
