Betty Marie Coleman

Betty Marie Coleman, 92, has gone to be with the Eternal Father on March 7, 2016.
She was a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and a longtime resident of LaPlace.
Coleman was the beloved wife of the late Austin “Muggs” Coleman and loving mother of her only child, Claudia Coleman Hebert Weber and her son-in-law, Wayne “Pal” Weber, whom she called her “Buddy.”
She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret Ladue Bilson; grandmother of Renee Hebert Millet and Robby Hebert and his wife Teri; great grandmother of Nicole and T.J. “Choppa” Millet, Jr., Alyssa and Tori Hebert; and great great grandmother of Brianna and Brayden King.
Coleman loved volunteering for the River Parishes Hospital gift shop and St. John Ministry of Care.
A special thank you to Dr. Andrew St. Martin for all his wonderful care and to St. Catherine’s Hospice for making her comfortable during her final days.
Relatives and friends attended a memorial service Thursday, March 10 at the Lutheran Church of the Galilean in LaPlace.
Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace is in charge of arrangements.
