March will be an exciting time at St. John the Baptist Parish Library. In celebrating the Easter holiday, each library branch will participate in a program dedicated to it.

The Garyville Library will be hosting an Easter egg paper plate craft at 3:30 p.m. March 14. Children, ages 5 and up, have a chance to be creative by using different accessories to make a one-of-a-kind Easter egg. They can then use the egg as Easter décor for at home or school.

The Reserve Library, Central Library and Edgard Library will all be hosting Easter egg hunts.

The Reserve Library will host their hunt at 4 p.m. March 21. The Central Library will have their Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. March 23. The Edgard Library will also host an Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m. March 23.

Children, ages 3 to 10, will hunt for plastic colorful Easter eggs hidden on the outside lawn of each library. The Reserve Library will also host an Easter-inspired Children Make Shoppe at 5:30 p.m. March 21.
