Some of Ashley Hebert’s students explore microorganisms using one of five new microscopes awarded to the Lakewood Elementary fifth grade science class through the St. Charles Public Schools Foundation. Hebert wrote the grant before Christmas break in hopes of allowing her students to identify, describe and investigate microscopic items while promoting collaborative learning.
