Hospital celebrates Employees of the 4th Quarter

LUTCHER — St. James Parish Hospital recently announced the 2015 Employees of the 4th Quarter, Stacy Heltz and Carmen Louque.

Both employees were nominated by fellow staff and chosen by the Executive Leadership Team for their dedication to the hospital.

Heltz has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for 18 years. Her current role is Imaging Technologist. Heltz is a 1994 graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School and graduated from Delgado Radiologic Technology in 1998.

Mike Luminais, director of radiology, who nominated Heltz, said he witnessed Heltz from just completing Radiology technology school to becoming an excellent technologist.

“She takes great pride in her work and is a great asset to our department and St. James Parish Hospital,” Luminais said.

Heltz said she is grateful to have been employed by St. James Parish Hospital for 18 years.

“My job has filled a large part of my life, and I’m truly happy because I love what I do,” she said.

“I am blessed to work with such a great group of people and for the opportunity to care for the wonderful patients that choose St. James Parish Hospital.”

Louque has worked at St. James Parish Hospital for two years. Her current role is Surgical Technologist. She is a 1997 graduate of Lutcher High School and a 2002 graduate of Pear River Community College in Hattiesburg, Miss.

Louque was nominated by the Materials Management department; whose members feel Louque goes above and beyond.
