LUTCHER — St. Peter Chanel School in Lutcher is hosting its first 5K Charger Dash as part of the Annual Spring Festival March 12 for St. Peter Chanel School.

The event will include several obstacles for all ages, some more difficult than others. There is also an option to sign up for just the 5K with no extra challenges.

The race starts at Lutcher Park, and participants run to the levee, then continue on the levee to St. Peter Chanel School, where organizers will continue with more obstacles on the final leg.

At the end of the race, there will be food, drinks and beer. Everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the Spring Festival activities. There will also be a 1K race for younger children.
