Gwendolyn Flores Jochum passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.
She was 73, a native of New Orleans, a previous resident of LaPlace and a resident of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Jochum was the beloved wife of Edgar C. Jochum; mother of Tangela Daniels (Tee), Barbara Lessard (Darryl), Cyndi Jochum (Sultan); daughter of the late Angelo and Roby Flores; sister of Christy Simsick (Pete), Patti Lazarre (Chuck), Debbie Blumenthal (Marty); grandmother of Wesley Triche (Jessica), Branden Lessard (Caitlin), Myranda Triche, Wyatt Daniels, Alex Mohmand; and great grandmother of Logan Kemp and Kole Lessard.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jochum was a beloved wife, mother, homemaker and member of several community organizations in Texas and LaPlace. She will be forever loved and missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Hurst Masonic Lodge, 725 Mary Drive in Hurst, Texas, 76053 on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 1 to 5 p.m. Prayer service will start at 3 p.m.

In addition, there will be a Celebration of Life held Saturday, April 9 at 228 Magnolia Dr. in LaPlace from 1 to 6 p.m.
