LAPLACE — St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church will dedicate the St. Joseph Altar in the Family Life Center at 529 West 5th St. in LaPlace March 18 and 19.

The Altar will be open to the public both days from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.

On March 18, the blessing of the Altar and the ceremony of “The Feeding of the Saints” will be held at noon.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. March 19, and dinner will be served from 5 until 7:30 p.m.

All monetary donations given by those attending the meal will benefit charity.

Donations of meatless dishes to adorn the altar are appreciated.

Volunteers will be baking cookies from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Anyone who would like to assist in the baking of cookies can join in at the St. Joan of Arc Family Life Center.

Cookie order forms can be found at sjachurch.com. Orders can also be submitted to the St. Joan of Arc Parish Office until March 6.
