St. Joan of Arc Catholic School students Jocelyn Druin, from left, Amelia Mouton and Max Blouin were some of the kindergartners who took turns bringing snacks for their classmates. Mouton’s snack turned into a learning experience after she brought buttermilk, salt and crackers, which became a delicious treat of homemade butter on crackers. The buttermilk was poured in the jar, and a salt was added. The students took turns shaking the jar until the cream turned into butter.
