LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Library and Blessed to be a Blessing are spearheading another year of Homework Hut at the Edgard, Garyville and LaPlace libraries.

The program is open now from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. four days a week.

It will continue through April every Monday through Thursday.

Teachers from schools in the community, along with volunteers will assist elementary students in various subjects, including English, math, science, social studies, spelling and reading.
