Dylon Joseph Cooper, 19, of Paradis passed away Jan. 13, 2016, due to injuries sustained during a vehicle accident.
He was born in New Orleans on May 13, 1996.
His passions included bodybuilding, sports, running and music.
Dylon was a 2015 graduate of Hahnville High School.
He was a high-spirited person who was always the center of attention and enjoyed making everyone laugh. He was loved by all whose lives he touched during his short time here on Earth.
He is survived by his mother, Delilah Berget of LaPlace; his father, Joseph Cooper; stepmother Kadrina Tappan of Paradis; and grandparents Diana Hager of LaPlace, Tina Cooper-Hymel of Hahnville and Irby Paul Cooper of Hahnville; step grandfather Larry Hymel of Hahnville; step grandmother Tasha Tappan or Paradis; sister Callie May; brother Andre Cooper; step brothers Robert Tappan and Jody Tappan; uncles Louis and Raymond Cooper of Hahnville and aunt Rebecca Hager; and step uncle Colt Tappan and aunt Sarah Hager.
Services will be held Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at Falgout Funeral Home, 3838 Hwy 1 in Raceland.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m., with a mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery, 3450 Highway 90 in Avondale.
