Police looking for attempted murder suspect

ST. ROSE — An area man was stabbed in the neck, and authorities are asking for the public’s help locating the man detectives feel is responsible.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said 35-year-old Jerry L. Brown Jr. was involved in an altercation with a St. Rose man at approximately 9 p.m. Friday.
“During the altercation, Brown allegedly stabbed the victim in the neck, causing life threatening injuries, which required surgery,” a release from the Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said Brown’s last known address was on Megehee Street in Waggaman.
