RESERVE — Gregg’s Neighborhood Market in Reserve was very busy on the most recent New Year’s Eve.
Not only was it the last day of the month, but also the last day of 2015.
With the store closed the following day, many loyal customers stocked up on items desired to make a traditional southern New Year’s Day meal of pork roast or ham, cabbage and black-eyed peas — all of which are said to bring “good luck” for the coming year.
