Photo Feature: Local teachers receive energy boost

- Attendees listen Dec. 15 to speakers from the National Energy Education Development Project go over the agenda for the Louisiana Energy Workshop, a day-long professional development seminar for area fourth through 12th grade science and math teachers at the Holiday Inn Express in Gonzales. The workshop, sponsored by Shell, provided instruction in the science of energy and covered energy sources and conservation, petroleum/natural gas exploration, production, conversion and products used by consumers. The workshop was provided at no expense to participating teachers.
