Photo feature: Valero chips in for Second Harvest Food Bank

- Approximately 45 volunteers from Valero St. Charles packaged boxes Nov. 18 for those in need at Second Harvest Food Bank in Harahan. Valero volunteers packed 1,800 Thanksgiving boxes, 1,300 Kids Café’ after school meals, 1,200 Kids Café snacks and prepared the side items for 1,800 senior Thanksgiving meals. Prior to the volunteer event, Valero employees held a food drive in which they donated 32,091 pounds of food, which equates to 26,742 meals.
