Frank “Spider” Calcagno

Frank “Spider” Calcagno, 89, a native and resident of Gramercy, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at the Southeast Louisiana War Veteran’s Home in Reserve.
He was born on June 6, 1926. He was a Navy Seabee and served in Okinawa in World War II.
Calcagno is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nettie Lee St. Pierre Calcagno and children Belinda C. Rouillier and husband Nelson, Craig Calcagno and wife Mary, Keith Calcagno and Jodie C. Simon and husband Gregg.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild and his brothers, Anthony Calcagno and Steve Calcagno.
Calcagno was preceded in death by parents Camille Guarneri Calcagno and Anthony Calcagno Sr.; brothers Royal, Joseph and Jake; and sisters Frances Calcagno and Josephine C. Gondolfo.
Visitation will be held at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher, LA on Monday, Nov. 9 from 6 until 9 p.m. and will continue at the funeral home from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Gramercy at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ed Fuss.
Military honors will follow at the interment at St. Joseph Mausoleum in Paulina.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Lynn Funeral Services in Lutcher.
